Many exciting stories were submitted to the "Creative Industries Story 2017" competition. Through these stories, WKÖ's Creative Industries Austria shows how creative professionals create added value, innovation and turnover together with their customers from the business world. How Apfelcider becomes a market leader through good brand design was already told in 2016 by the creative industries story of Goldkehlchen and Bureau F. In 2017, the Goldkehlchen team decided to collaborate with the creative team again.
Gold throats become robins
The Viennese agency Bureau F and Austria's most popular cider Goldkehlchen have been going the same way graphically since both companies were founded. In 2017, the "Partners in Crime" expanded the range and developed Rotkehlchen, a sparkling grape juice.
Premium apple cider from Austria
When the two Goldkehlchen founders met at a cider in Australia, they asked themselves why there was no world-class cider in beautiful Austria, which is full of world-class apple trees? The idea for Goldkehlchen was born: a premium cider made from premium apples - hand-picked in Styria. But in order to make the premium product visible as such on the drinks shelf, Goldkehlchen needed a few more premium creatives.
Premium Branding Studio from Vienna
Bureau F - Studio für Design & Branding from Vienna: "We are style-conscious designers without a uniform method, distinctive aesthetics and function set us apart. We make visions tangible and give products personality." That these attributes are not empty promises was already evident in the course of the original Goldkehlchen launch, which became one of our creative industries stories in 2016.
Gold throats become robins
In 2017, Goldkehlchen and Bureau F continued their collaboration, expanding the range and developing Rotkehlchen, a sparkling grape juice. The aim was to establish a connection with Goldkehlchen, but to enable consumers to clearly distinguish between the different products. A fine line that Bureau F has mastered superbly.

Courageous customers, happy creatives
At the first briefing, Bureau F presented various designs of the robin. After a short period of reflection, the cider makers decided on the boldest design, which naturally also pleased the creative team. Most companies would wish for such good cooperation, characterized by understanding, trust and mutual respect between client and recipient. It is a guarantee for a successful creative business story and one of the reasons why Fabienne and Philip from Bureau F sit at the table at every Goldkehlchen Christmas party.
