The AußenwirtschaftsCenter New York is organizing "The Power of Design - Innovative Strategies at the Intersection of Design, Technology, Environment and Economy" in New York from 3 to 6 June 2024. The program is aimed at designers and creative professionals as well as entrepreneurs and managers who are looking for inspiration in New York's innovative design scene and want to use the city as a field for experimentation and learning while networking with like-minded people. In addition, visits to local Austrian designers (e.g. Stefan Sagmeister, Antenna Design) are planned in order to learn first-hand "what it takes to make it in New York" and the US market in general. The Foreign Trade Centers San Francisco and New York are organizing a joint US-wide Landing Zone Initiative for Austrian startups that want to prepare for US market entry and US investors. Become part of the first German-Austrian film and television dialog!

On October 10 and 11, 2024, the AußenwirtschaftsCenter Berlin, together with the Association of the Film and Music Industry, cordially invites you to the first German-Austrian Film and Television Dialogue. This unique event brings together talented filmmakers from Germany and Austria to promote creative exchange and strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

The aim of the event is to intensify cooperation to strengthen competitiveness on the international film, TV and streaming market, present the diversity and quality of the film industry in both countries and thus position Austria and Germany internationally as film locations. In addition to inspiring talks and discussions, the dialog offers an excellent opportunity for networking and potential collaborations.

The event is part of the internationalization offensive go-internationlal, a joint initiative of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Economy and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber Registration until 01.10.2024!

 

Be part of the study trip to Dutch Design Week!

In cooperation with the Foreign Trade Office Brussels, the Foreign Trade Center The Hague is organizing a business mission to the leading trade fair Dutch Design Week on 24 and 25 October in Eindhoven with a visit to the architectural city of Rotterdam. The economic importance of the creative and cultural sector (including the media) is high in the Netherlands. The Dutch Design Week is the largest design event in Northern Europe.

More than 2,600 designers present their work and concepts to more than 355,000 visitors from Germany and abroad. With a contribution of EUR 25.5 billion (3.7%) to GDP, this sector is twice as large as agriculture. The creative and cultural sector also accounts for 320,000 jobs, 4.5% of total employment. In general, the Dutch creative industries can be described as innovative, attractive and diverse.
