Vienna, the city of art and culture. With over 100 museums, various galleries and constantly changing exhibitions, it is difficult to keep up, which leads to missed opportunities. With her background as an art lover and passionate museum visitor, Vera Grablechner has recognized a problem that many Viennese share: Art lovers would like to visit different exhibitions, but don't have time to get an overview and often don't even know where to find the best exhibitions. This is where the myCulture app comes into play.
The best exhibitions to suit your taste
Â
In a world where everything has to happen quickly and where we always have our cell phone at hand, it is obvious that our enjoyment of art must also be possible on the go.
The solution that Vera and her team have developed with myCulture is a mobile app that offers personalized recommendations for exhibitions based on individual interests. Similar to Netflix, users receive an overview of relevant exhibitions and can book their museum tickets directly.Â
And the results are impressive: With over 1000 active users and 13 partnerships already, they have made a promising start.
More visibility for museums and galleries
Â
From the MAK to the Ernst Fuchs Museum and the MQ Vienna, several renowned partners are already part of the myCulture app and the number is constantly increasing. After all, museums and galleries benefit from numerous advantages: The app allows them to tap into new target groups that appeal to young, digitally-savvy and convenience-oriented adults. The app also offers a new sales channel by attracting new customers through data analysis and personalized recommendations. Re-targeting measures, with which visitors can be addressed again weeks after their visit, are also possible. Using the app requires minimal effort, as data entry is automated and it is easy and intuitive to use.
Overall, the partnership with the myCulture app offers museums and galleries the opportunity to expand their reach, increase their sales and strengthen customer loyalty, all with minimal effort.

In addition, myCulture covers a wide range of exhibitions, while other platforms only cover contemporary art. This makes myCulture unique in the German-speaking world and positions it globally as the leading platform for cultural discovery.
myCulture beyond the borders of Vienna
The next steps for Vera and her team include expansion plans both within Austria and in other countries and cities. New features are planned to make visiting museums and art fairs an unforgettable experience. The long-term goal is to cover not only visual arts, but also other cultural segments such as theater, opera and concerts.
