A ray of hope in times of upheaval: how the new song by seven creatives from Lower Austria gives hope and courage
What happens when you give creative people space in which they have enough time for reflection, creative exchange and new ideas? In the case of the participants of the C hoch 3 creative industries coaching, a message emerges that everyone can hear. Under the title "CROSSROADS", seven creatives from Lower Austria, who have combined their talents and emotions, have created a work that inspires people to pause and gives them hope.
A few months ago, we had the pleasure of visiting the participants of the C hoch 3 creative industries coaching program in Lower Austria. What struck us immediately was the variety of different personalities from different industries who were facing individual challenges but all had one goal: to develop themselves further, meet like-minded people and expand their knowledge of the creative industries. Six months later and we are delighted to be able to package the result of one of these collaborations into a story that is worth hearing.
Stronger together
The intention behind "CROSSROADS" is to give people courage and confidence when they find themselves in stormy times. The question of how we can find our way and realize our dreams is at the heart of this impressive project. The creatives have poured their own experiences and emotions into the song and music video to convey an authentic message of community and cohesion
The openness and honesty with which the participants spoke about their personal upheavals is particularly impressive. "In addition to the tempting prospect of something new, big decisions also bring with them a lot of doubt and uncertainty. It was exciting to work through these ambivalent feelings together for the song and the video and also soothing to feel that we are not alone with these issues," reports singer Sabine Foltin.
The creative minds behind music and video
The song CROSSROADS not only gets to the heart of sensitive emotions, but also brings together various experts whose know-how is particularly evident in the production and realization.
"With a gifted singer, a music producer and my knowledge of film, the decision to make a music video was obvious.Other creative people from music, film and graphics joined us and together we created CROSSROADS. It was important for all of us to work together in a spirit of appreciation and enjoyment..." explains filmmaker and CROSSROADS project manager Daniela Perdula.
Daniela was the project manager, director and editor for the song and also acted as creative producer. She has been on/off in the film world for 25 years and has been working in psychological counseling for 10 years. Her latest passion is human design. Courage and authenticity are very important to her.
The song Crossroads was created in a songwriter session in Stefan Bauer's studio, FRANZ RECORDS. Stefan is a songwriter, composer & producer and offers space & time to work on creative ideas in his studio in a pleasant living room atmosphere. He is currently composing film music for a short film and working on music and podcast productions.
Singer-songwriter Sabine Foltin, on the other hand, came to C hoch 3 with illustrations and arts and crafts, but then took the opportunity to finally give music more space in her life. Since then, the singer no longer writes for the drawer, but can now be heard with her songs at the U-Bahn-Stars in Vienna and can soon also be booked for living room concerts.
Johanna Franziska Kriks, who was responsible for directing, camera and editing, is a coach and video producer, rebel and instigator of courageous thoughts and fireworks of ideas, pirate and companion for all those whose deep fulfillment lies in freedom, liveliness and wildness.Â
As an expert in graphic design with an affinity for film and video, Barbara Sator-Krapf contributed her skills in concept, animation and graphics. Her website and services under the name Satorella stand for clear, fresh design and offer conception and design of digital and analog media.
Volker Gallasch, the winner of the 16th International Speaker Competition, is a passionate musician and music teacher. With his expertise, it was clear that he would play the cajon and accordion arrangement and sing along in the background.
With Benjamin Buric, founder of Phoenix Studios ST, a pioneer in storytelling and 3D animation joins the team as a concept developer.Â
As you can see here, people with different backgrounds have come together and learned and benefited from each other.
C to the power of 3 brings people together
After many years of C to the power of 3 creative industries coaching, we can say that it is not important for every participant to do exactly the same thing. On the contrary! We all face different challenges and can benefit from each other's strengths and expertise. The song CROSSROADS is a prime example of how much you can benefit from exchanging ideas with other creatives and dealing with challenges honestly and openly.
"Talking about collaboration is one thing, but actually diving into the highs and lows of real-life collaborations is another! CROSSROADS is the product of experienced creatives who have pooled their skills and passion and now share them with the world in a touching song. Cooperation competence is a future competence - especially in these times of great change." Marie-Theres Zirm, Managing Director of cardamom and C hoch 3 coach.

Be brave - it pays off!
"CROSSROADS" is not just a piece of music or a music video, but rather a testimony to the human experience and the power of community. It reminds us that we can stick together in difficult times and support each other to emerge stronger from the challenges together. The song invites us to set out on our own path, to be courageous and to pursue our dreams - even if the path is uncertain and full of obstacles.
But we don't want to keep you in suspense any longer. It's best to listen for yourself and be inspired:
