10 years creative industry coaching C hoch 3
More than 100 creative professionals at a network meeting lasting several days throughout Austria
The Creative Industries Coaching C hoch 3 of the Creative Industries Austria (KAT) of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber celebrated its 10th anniversary from 27 to 29 March at an Austria-wide network meeting of superlatives in Linz. More than 100 creative professionals from all provinces went on interesting creative tours to selected companies, worked on business issues at an innovation camp and celebrated at a big birthday party in the tobacco factory in Linz.
Good networks and entrepreneurial competence
Creative Industries Coaching is an Austria-wide, free programme for creative people to strengthen their entrepreneurial competence and cooperation skills. Within the framework of the "Creative Industries Strategy for Austria", 100% of the funding is provided by the BMDW, WKÖ, KAT and regional partner organisations in the federal provinces. The recently published Eighth Austrian Creative Industries Report shows that creative industries companies are mostly structured on a small scale. (60% are one-person companies). An organisation in networks and co-operations is therefore indispensable, affirms Gerin Trautenberger, Chairperson of the Creative Industries Austria.
"Cooperation results in innovations, new services, products and crossover effects. This is exactly where we start with creative industry coaching and our success has proven us right for 10 years. So far, around 1,000 creative professionals have completed the creative industry coaching in 41 rounds. "The creative professionals profit enormously and leave the coaching as a strengthened entrepreneurial personality with practically acquired commercial and legal know-how as well as a strengthened ability to cooperate," says the KAT chairman.
Cooperation creates innovation
The result of this development process is not only cross-sectoral cooperation, but above all a continuously growing, Austria-wide creative industries network, which is visualized on the C hoch 3 Google Map of the Creative Industries Austria. In addition to coaching, C hoch 3 also creates selective networking, for example, within the framework of regular network meetings, such as the anniversary meeting in Linz. "We are proud of our growing creative industries network and hope to expand it further over the next ten years in order to be able to produce even more innovations in Austria through creative industries-based services," says Trautenberger.
Anniversary edition Network Meeting
In Linz, the creative workers visited selected hot spots of the Upper Austrian creative scene, such as Las Gafas Films, OrtnerSchinko or Ebbi Fashion, and further developed their business model at the tobacco factory in Linz at the C hoch 3 Innovation Camp. The 10th anniversary celebration not only offered an exciting review and outlook during entertaining sofa talks, but also provided space for exchange, cooperation, getting to know each other and reunion.
