Tableside, lay yourself!
A boring table decoration? Not with Johanna and Yuno. The two Styrian designers have come up with something very special for their sustainable home decor brand "Zu Tisch": a textile and tableware collection with loving and individual motifs such as alpacas. Each piece is unique - produced regionally and sustainably. With these ingredients a unique dinner for family, friends or business occasions can be served. The idea and the motivation for the cooperation comes of course from the creative economy coaching C hoch 3. We ask "to table".

Two designers and a joint label
The fashion designer with a soft spot for home textiles and sustainable fabrics, Johanna Hauk, and the porcelain designer and co-founder of the creative café "Granny's Teapot" , Yuno Khripunova, met at the Creative Economy Coaching C hoch 3 in Styria in 2017. The two designers had sought and found each other at C hoch 3 and wanted to combine their passion for home decor and upcycling under one label name as a cooperative project. The idea for the sustainable design label came to the creative minds through the intensive exchange of opinions with others as well as getting to know each other and checking each other's skills.
Grow as a corporate personality in creative industry coaching
"In this time of bubbling ideas, the coaching days were just the right thing to get immediate feedback," Johanna Hauk remembers. "The creative industry coaching was an extremely exciting and instructive time, during which we were able to benefit from each other's skills." The workshops on the topics: market positioning, pricing, target group addressing, market communication, customer acquisition and time management, as well as the many exciting interactive methods, provided the C hoch 3 cooperation team with new approaches for the further development of their business idea.
"The workshop setting 'Bar Camp' was particularly exciting for us, through which we were able to communicate our business idea to the other creative professionals and the C hoch 3 trainers in an exchange of constructive feedback," says Yuno Khripunova. "Also very helpful for the future of our project was the design thinking session and the final presentation, where we presented our business model and the finished products to the outside world for the first time.
A good idea needs a strong team
It usually takes more than two for a successful brand presentation. Through the presentation of the business idea in creative industry coaching, the duo realised that support was needed in marketing and branding. With the designer Thomas Kohl (HUNGRY) and the copywriter Roswitha Ranz (Wörterei Ranz) two more project members could be won. "When Yuno and Johanna told me about their idea, I immediately wanted to become part of this project. With my texts I set the stage for the first collection, ALPAKA, for website and Facebook. Cheerfulness, togetherness and sustainable thinking are values of ZU TISCH, which were also reflected in our C hoch 3 cooperation", Roswitha Ranz tells. The success of the Home Decor brand was not long in coming. "Zu Tisch" was successfully presented at the Design Month Graz, Feschmarkt and 15 seconds Festival. The team is currently working on a large order for an alpaca farm in Styria. For the future the development of an online shop and the own website are planned. We are already curious about what the C hoch 3 cooperation team will be serving up in the future.

Digital work is possible everywhere. In the city and in the country. What is missing, especially in rural areas, is exchange. One reason why Herwig Zöttl and Nikola Weiser translated coworking into Tyrolean. This is how Raum13 was created in the course of the Creative Industries Coaching Tyrol: a flexible workplace, an inspiring meeting place for creative people and - in the sense of coworking - recently a destination for digital nomads.

The C hoch 3 Creative Industries Coaching is intended to offer creative professionals the opportunity to learn from one another, to further develop their business models, and to enter into professional cooperations. This is to be achieved through mutual exchange and with the support of experienced trainers.
