Music meets Tech: With new technologies for successful events | Barcelona
Thousands of music fans and tech-interested people declare it an annual must: the Sónar Festival in Barcelona with its congress Sonar+D. Around 120,000 festival guests from all over the world make the pilgrimage to the Spanish cult event, which combines multimedia with electronic beats. The Sónar+D congress brings research and the latest technologies to the Sónar Music Festival: musicians, scientists, artists, filmmakers, entrepreneurs, designers, hackers - they all come together to learn from each other for three days.
How do you optimally integrate partners and sponsors? How do you win them over? Are virtual formats the future? What does it take for an international event to be successful? Andrea Faroppa, responsible for Brands Relations at Sónar+D, answered questions like these in our webinar.
Ruth Sackl, Key Account Manager for Creative Industries at the Foreign Trade Center Barcelona, gave an insight into the creative hub Barcelona and informed about the Austria Showcase, which will take place for the first time in 2020 in cooperation with the Foreign Trade Center Barcelona and Sónar+D. From 18 to 19 June 2020, the Showcase will feature private event pitching sessions in front of international cooperation partners, exclusive access to Sónar+D workshops, private tours of music studios and technology centres, admission to the congress and festival, and exciting networking events.
