The MEDIA strand of the Creative Europe program supports the European film and audiovisual industries to develop, distribute and promote European works, taking into account today's digital environment. Projects will focus on the specific challenges of the audiovisual sector such as discoverability, sequencing of release windows, financing and territoriality. Support will also be given to tools for greening of the industry.

Support will be given to independent European production companies able to develop a slate of 3 to 5 audiovisual works in fiction, animation, and creative documentary. Applicants may add a short film by emerging talent to their slate. This call is open until 25/01/2023

The newly created EIT Culture & Creativity connects leading institutions from business, industry, innovation, art and culture, education and research in Europe. The support fund is a social pot established in the Artists' Social Insurance Fund (KSVF) for the financial support of artists who have fallen into financial distress due to an emergency or who, due to an unforeseeable event, find themselves in a situation that will lead to an emergency without support. Anyone who is directly or indirectly affected by the coronavirus through illness and quarantine, or who is expecting massive business losses and is therefore experiencing payment difficulties, will be supported by the SVS. Those affected should contact the SVS directly and without complications. If necessary, the SVS offers all SVS insured persons the following options:
Deferral of contributions
Payment of contributions in instalments
Reduction of the provisional contribution base
Total or partial leniency of interest on late payments
Applications for deferral and payment by instalments can be submitted informally in writing by e-mail. The reduction of the provisional contribution base can be applied for using the online form.
