What is supported?
With the Expedition Zukunft INNOVATION call, the FFG helps projects in the early stages, such as problem analysis or brainstorming. The aim is to significantly change the behavior of users and society, as well as markets or technologies.
On the one hand, innovations are supported in order to develop new business models and influence the market. This can displace existing companies or create new markets. On the other hand, projects that tackle complex social problems and bring about supra-regional changes are to be supported. Both aspects can and should be considered together in many cases.
The upper limit for funding under this call is a maximum of € 150,000 for a submitted project.
The maximum funding rate under this call for proposals is 50% of the total eligible costs.
Who is supported?
- Start-ups or companies in the process of being founded
- Partnerships or corporations with or without the intention of making a profit
- natural persons or sole proprietors
- Clubs
- non-profit organizations
Note: Large companies can also submit a project if it is a social innovation.
