Get a glimpse of the EIT Culture & Creativity milestones in April

April is an important milestone month for EIT Culture& Creativity- thus, we are dedicating this article of the news EU Monitor Creative Industries exclusively to EIT C&C news.

Years of tinkering, collaborations and commitment to create a better Europe driven by culture& Creativity became legalized through the constitution of the EIT Culture & Creativity association- the legal platform for core partners to connect and organize as a community. 29 organizations joined EIT Culture & Creativity as core partners in this initial act. New adhesions will follow to reach at least 50 core partners by the end of the 2023. Up from 2024 the EIT C&C opens for diversified engagement opportunities serving a broad myriad of stakeholders acting either in individual or business capacity that subscribe to the KIC membership to benefit from its services, contribute to impact delivery, and set strategic direction for the future.

Another important milestone marked the launch of the first set of open calls The calls are designed to address global challenges Europe faces in higher education, innovation, business creation, and society, with up to €10.45 million in funding available for 2024. The deadline for submissions is the 31 May 2023.
