Do you have an innovative and scalable idea for a new product or want to launch a new technology on the market? With the start-up grant, the Vienna Business Agency supports founders financially for 6 months so that they can concentrate fully on implementing their innovative business idea.
In accompanying coaching sessions and workshops, the budding entrepreneurs learn the basics of how to set up their business idea in a solid way and establish it successfully.

What is supported?
The start-up grant provides financial support to founders to enable them to further develop and realize their innovative and growth-oriented start-up ideas.
Facts Start-up grant
- Scholarship amount: € 8,000 per person, maximum of 3 persons possible
- Payment modalities Start-up grant: Payment in 3 tranches: 1st tranche € 2,000, 2nd and 3rd tranche € 3,000 each in combination with coaching, advice and networking services for founders.
- Coaching and networking events: In order to receive the start-up grant, you must commit to four hours of coaching at the Vienna Business Agency and take part in networking events organized by the start-up grant. The start-up grant is linked to participation in the "Founders Lab" incubator program.
Who?
Funding is available to persons with an innovative and scalable start-up idea who are not currently self-employed, who are not eligible for the AMS business start-up program and who can prove that they have had a main residence in Vienna for at least 6 months or a secondary residence in Vienna for at least one year (the date of issue of the registration confirmation must not be older than 1 month).

All sectors. The plausibility of the start-up idea, growth and scaling potential, innovative content, chances of economic success, competencies of the person/team are important.
