EU news: EU launches think tank for the New European Bauhaus

Commission launches "NEB Lab" with new projects and call for friendship

The new "NEB LAB" aims to strengthen the participation of companies, public actors and especially local and regional authorities in the implementation of the New European Bauhaus and to make the European Bauhaus a reality through concrete and tangible projects.

The think tank will develop a "labelling strategy" to ensure that projects are developed in the spirit of the European initiative, a mapping of regulatory barriers to the development of innovative projects is planned, and a third strand of action will develop "innovative" forms of financing, for example through crowdfunding in combination with public funding.

The NEB LAB aims to put the thinking of the New European Bauhaus into practice and involve a wide range of stakeholders in developing practical and lasting contributions to the initiative.
