New FLIP report examines policy initiatives for the creative industries in the Corona pandemic

The cultural and creative sector (CCS) is one of the sectors most affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. The crisis made many innovation needs in the CCS or opportunities for the CCS more visible and added new ones. Innovation policy is therefore crucial - always and even more so in times of crisis and disruptive transformations of the economy and society. This concerns not only digital and business model innovations, but also other important innovation topics such as social cohesion methods of the creative industries, art and health, the role of art and culture in urban development, ecological innovation, etc. The disruptive power of the 2020-21 pandemic requires bold innovation support initiatives to completely revitalise the cultural and creative sectors. The Creative FLIP report looks at innovation support programmes for best practice to support relaunch.
