In the end there is an idea at the beginning

Launch of the new campaign for the creative industries

Digitization, a shortage of skilled workers, climate change, the covid pandemic and the current energy crisis are changing existing structures and presenting companies with major challenges. Under these conditions, it is essential to seize every opportunity to secure the location and create competitive advantages. The future of our economy is characterized by new approaches, fresh cross-sectoral projects and a high degree of creativity. In order to demonstrate the potential of the creative industries to a broader public, a digital communication campaign has now been launched for greater visibility of the added value of the creative industries' performance. The campaign was commissioned by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Economic Affairs (BMAW) and aws on the recommendation of the Creative Industries Advisory Board and is now being implemented in cooperation with Kreativwirtschaft Austria (KAT).

In the end there is an idea at the beginning

The Austria-wide digital awareness campaign "In the end, there's an idea at the beginning" highlights the added value of the creative industries for companies in various fields. The campaign positions the Austrian creative industries as an important catalyst for innovation and the transformation of the economy and motivates companies to collaborate with the creative industries. This makes the great economic potential of the creative industries and their benefits for transformation, digitization and innovation even more visible for Austria's companies. The campaign was presented at the "Creative Transformation Summit 2022" and will be played out via KAT's communication channels.

With around 45,500 companies, more than 160,000 employees in the creative industries and annual sales of around 24 billion euros, the sector makes an important contribution to Austria's economic performance and to sustainable economic activity. Creative industries companies score points with their digital know-how, their collaborative ways of working and their strong focus on users. Moreover, the sector is already a pioneer in achieving the international Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Digital approaches still have enormous potential here, he said. In addition to this impressive record, the industry's solutions also help many other companies to be successful. It is therefore essential to give the creative industries more visibility, especially in difficult times, and to support them in this way.
