"Winner" for Studio Ardē at the German Design Awards
Studio Ardē, under Johanna Lederer, was awarded "Winner" in the category "Excellent Communications Design", sub-category "Brand Identity" with their project "Desiree Jonek - Diversity Consulting".
Every year, the German Design Award honors outstanding and exemplary design achievements in a specific category with the "Winner" award. The outstanding works are selected for the German Design Award in their respective category by a special jury of experts. This year, Johanna Lederer and her studio Ardē were able to impress the jury with their communication design for their client Desiree Jonek.
DEI - Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Studio Ardē was entrusted by Desiree Jonek with the task of developing her communication design for a self-confident brand that radiates innovation, courage and humanity. Ms. Jonek is an expert in DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) and has set herself and her consulting company the goal of creating a high-performance working world in which everyone has the same rights regardless of gender, age, ethnic & cultural origin or sexual orientation. DEI serves as a leitmotif for the design, which combines functionality and aesthetics.
This convinced the jury:
The expert jury of the German Design Awards described the design as attractive and appealing, as it playfully conveys the brand's core values and thus creates an even more human effect. The combination of a soft design language and striking colors lends the product a pleasant lightness and friendliness. The fact that the coloured graphic elements are not rigid but can be used flexibly is particularly positively emphasized, which underlines the lightness of the design.
