NDU students win Creative Business Award 2021

The two NDU students Ines Ledwinka and Katharina Meixner won first place in the Creative Business Award in the category "Creative Student" with their project "re:bag".

The laser-cut "re:bag" by Ines Ledwinka and Katharina Meixner, students of the NDU BA program "Design, Craft & Material Culture", is a fanny pack made of vegan leather and is simply put together without seams using cut connectors. It was developed as a design at the intersection of craft and digital manufacturing and is available as an open source project.

In the course of an online award ceremony, Economic Provincial Councillor Jochen Danninger and the President of the Lower Austrian Chamber of Commerce Wolfgang Ecker congratulated the winners of the "Creative Student" category.

 

To the Award:

The Creative Business Award seeks and awards the most creative Lower Austrian companies, business ideas and projects. riz up, the start-up agency of the province of Lower Austria, and the New Design University, the private university of the Lower Austrian Chamber of Commerce for design, technology and business, had jointly called for submissions to the Creative Business Award 2021.
