Gerin Trautenberger re-elected as chairman of KreativwirtschaftAustria

Gerin Trautenberger was re-elected as Chairman of Creative Industries Austria for the next term of office on September 28, 2022, together with his deputies Gertraud Leimüller, founder and managing partner of winnovation consulting gmbh as well as of the startup leiwand AI gmbh, and Reanne Leuning, who is responsible for the internationalization programs of the Austrian creative industries at AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT AUSTRIA.

The designer and owner of Microgiants Design & Research intends to devote himself intensively to communicating the transformational and innovative power of the creative industries to companies and to building up the European innovation network EIT Culture & Creativity over the next three years. Kreativwirtschaft Austria will assume the host function for the establishment of a co-location center at the Vienna location. It is impossible to imagine the Austrian innovation system without the creative industries; they act as a catalyst and source of impetus for innovations in all sectors. This has been built up over many years in terms of economic policy and laid down in the 'Creative Industries Strategy for Austria' of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Economic Affairs. As Chairman of KAT, I want to continue to build on this foundation in the coming years, says Gerin Trautenberger.
