What´s new in the New European Bauhaus
Two years after its launch, the New European Bauhaus (NEB) has become a catalyst for the European Green Deal transformation. With over 600 official partner organisations ranging from EU wide networks to local initiatives, the NEB reaches millions of citizens. The initiative is bringing together people from various backgrounds – from art and design, cultural and creative industries, cultural heritage institutions, to educators, scientists and innovators, businesses, local and regional authorities, and citizen initiatives.

We like to draw your attention specially to Pillar 2 of Horizon Europe, Cluster 2 „Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society“, which aims to meet EU goals and priorities on enhancing democratic governance and citizens participation, on the safeguarding and promotion of cultural heritage, and to respond to and shape multifaceted social, economic, technological and cultural transformations.
This is a big chance for Creative Industries to be an active agent in for a socially just and inclusive European green and digital transition and post-COVID 19 recoveries.

The ambitious 2-year Interreg Europe Project titled “Measuring the Cultural and Creative Sectors in the EU” provided a recommendation for a new statistical framework to measure the Cultural and Creative Sectors (CCS) in the EU.
EIT C&C was kicked off in Cologne
EIT Culture & Creativity held its first in-person partner meeting on the 18th and 19th of November in cologne. More than 150 participants from about 65 partner organisations worked on boosting the future for Creative Industries and prepare concrete actions and funding programs for 2023!
