EIT Culture & Creativity ist eine Initiative des Europäischen Innovations- und Technologieinstituts (EIT). Wir sind eine Wissens- und Innovationsgemeinschaft, die darauf abzielt, Europas Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft und -industrie (CCSI) zu stärken und zu transformieren, indem wir Kreative und Organisationen mit Europas größtem Innovationsnetzwerk verbinden. Die Kreativwirtschaft Austria hat das Start-Up Jahr des Netzwerks und die Gründung des CLC SEA in Wien begleitet. Wir freuen uns schon auf die Gründung des CLC durch das EIT Culture & Creativity und wünschen dem weiteren Vorhaben viel Erfolg! Wir sind Host für ein Co-Location Center des EIT Culture & Creativity

Das EIT Culture & Creativity mit Hauptsitz in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Deutschland, wird über sechs Tochtergesellschaften, sogenannte Co-Location Centres, errichten. Diese regionalen Zentren sollen auf die Bedürfnisse lokaler und regionaler Ökosysteme eingehen und relevante Services anbieten, maßgeschneidert für die jeweiligen Ökosystem und unterschiedliche Akteur:innen von Studierenden, Start-ups, Venture Capital-Investor:innen und politischen Entscheidungsträger:innen für den kreativen Sektor. Neben Amsterdam, Barcelona, Bologna, Helsinki, Kosice soll ein Standort des EIT Culture and Creativity in Wien errichtet werden, für den die Kreativwirtschaft Austria in der Aufbauphase als Host fungiert.
