Up to 900,000 euros for innovations in the creative industries

The new international call for proposals from EIT Culture & Creativity, with a total budget of 10.5 million euros, supports startups, scale-ups, and SMEs in the fields of fashion, architecture, and audiovisual media in successfully bringing market-ready innovations to market and preparing them for further growth.

Companies with technically validated prototypes or solutions at the TRL 7 level can apply for this two-stage funding program. In the first phase, selected projects receive 20,000 euros to develop a business development plan, conduct market validation, and prepare for market launch. The most compelling projects will then be selected for the implementation phase and may receive funding of up to 900,000 euros for scaling and launching their innovations on the market.

Funding is available, among other things, for innovations in the areas of the circular economy for textiles, bio-based building materials, and the responsible use of AI in content creation. Companies from EU member states and Horizon Europe-associated countries are eligible to apply.
