How can the arts and culture sector actively contribute to eco-social transformation?
With the two-day forum “Composing Futures: Creative Impact on Eco-Social Transformation,” the mdw, together with partner organizations, is creating a space for exchange, reflection, and collaborative creation as part of Wien Modern. Artists, cultural professionals, researchers, decision-makers, and interested members of the public will discuss the future of cultural work, sustainable practices, and new forms of collaboration. The program features artistic presentations, dialogue sessions, workshops, and co-creation labs that explore practical approaches to environmental sustainability, participation, social change, and alternative models for the future. Participation is free and invites attendees to work together to develop new perspectives for sustainable cultural practice.
