These 79 campaigns are in the runningEFFIE Austria 2026
Shortlist Announced | Awards Ceremony on November 12 | Tickets Available Starting October 9
79 campaigns across 20 categories have emerged victorious in a highly competitive field. They can now hope to win one of the most prestigious awards in the communications industry.
The EFFIE is much more than just a creative award. As part of the global EFFIE network, it has stood for decades as a symbol of advertising communication that has a proven impact: The award recognizes all forms of marketing that contribute to a brand’s success—judged based on the quality of the brief, the strategic idea, the creative execution, and, in particular, the results achieved. An EFFIE, therefore, not only recognizes a compelling campaign but also provides solid proof that it worked. In this way, the EFFIE reaffirms its status as a beacon and international benchmark for marketing effectiveness.
“The EFFIE represents a simple yet challenging question: What impact has communication actually had? Because a good idea alone isn’t enough. What matters is whether an idea becomes an effective strategy, whether creativity moves people, and whether it ultimately makes a measurable difference. That’s exactly what makes the EFFIE special: It doesn’t reward the loudest campaign, but rather the one that has demonstrably made a difference,” said EFFIE President and Jury Chair Bettina Schuckert.
The entries nominated by the EFFIE online jury come from a wide variety of industries and highlight just how multifaceted successful marketing communication is today—ranging from traditional campaigns to digital and data-driven initiatives to fully integrated communication solutions.
Simply being nominated for the shortlist is a special honor. It recognizes campaigns that view creativity not as an end in itself, but as a driver of relevance, change, and results. These projects demonstrate that successful communication can do more than just generate attention: it can change attitudes, influence behavior, strengthen brands, and advance specific business goals. That is exactly what the EFFIE stands for—ideas that don’t just look good, but make an impact.”
The final decision has not yet been made: The nominated campaigns will now be evaluated by the EFFIE live jury. Which entries will be awarded bronze, silver, gold, or perhaps even platinum will be announced at the EFFIE Awards Ceremony on November 12, 2026, at the Sofiensäle.
Tickets for this highlight of the Austrian communications industry will be available starting October 9, 2026, via oeticket.com.
