Developed by a creative for creatives.

What do you do when the right tool for your work simply doesn’t exist? For a creative from Austria, the answer was clear: develop it yourself.

The desire for an accounting solution that really suits Austrian EPUs arose from the practical experience of her own photography business. The current tools on the market covered a lot of things, but never exactly what was really needed in everyday life. So she started to build her own solution. The approach behind it is to make accounting as simple and transparent as possible, even without in-depth prior knowledge.

Behind this is Jolene Lederer, EPU in the field of photography and software. With Accounted, she has developed a native accounting app for iPhone, iPad and Mac that directly maps Austrian tax law, from KU limits and UVA to income tax returns. Receipts can be scanned and automatically posted, and the app also shows you where you currently stand in terms of tax. The aim is to avoid nasty surprises at the end of the year and to keep an overview without complicated interfaces.

The app has only recently become available in the App Store and is currently in the launch phase. This makes it all the more important to have real users and honest feedback from the field so that Accounted can continue to develop – precisely in line with the needs of EPUs in Austria.

Sounds exciting? If you have an iPhone, you can test the app directly and send Jolene your feedback.
