A single red line loops and curves smoothly on a light gray background, forming a large loop near the center before continuing off the right edge.
A blue pop-up structure made from a shipping container stands outside on a paved area with yellow tables and benches around it. Signs with information are posted, and a few people are nearby. Trees and buildings can be seen in the background.

YouRban

After Milan and Barcelona, the open learning and experience zone for the circular economy and the recycling of polymers is coming to Vienna for three days. With a mobile recycling plant, a diverse educational program, workshops and hands-on stations, the event is open to the public and free of charge. YouRban is part of the New European Bauhaus Initiative and a contribution by designaustria to the Vienna Climate Biennale 2026.

DESCRIPTION
YouRban is an information container on the reuse of glass fiber reinforced plastics in the EU. The information container is part of the EU-funded international project of the same name under the leadership of the Politecnico di Milano (TU Milan) with Austrian participation from designaustria – Knowledge Center and Interest Group for Design in Austria. An exhibition on recycled products made of glass fiber reinforced plastics – from vases to tennis rackets – is on display. Windows and showcases provide insights into the interior of the container.
