Content Vienna 2026

Clear the stage for digital ideas with impact

Are you currently working on a game, developing an XR experience, experimenting with AI or tinkering with digital formats that move people? Then Content Vienna exactly your competition. Every year, creative digital projects that show how technology, design and social relevance can work together are honored here.

Five projects will receive 10,000 euros each. In addition, there are two special prizes of 5,000 euros each, for example in the field of digital literacy or for participation in South by Southwest 2026. Projects led by women will receive a bonus of 1,000 euros.

Digital concepts, prototypes or demo versions from a wide range of areas can be submitted. From games, XR and animation to AI, blockchain/web3, digital publishing or wearable IT applications. The only important thing is that the project is predominantly developed in Vienna and that Vienna plays a role in terms of content or form.

Developers, studios, start-ups, companies, associations or private individuals can take part. The evaluation is carried out by an independent jury that looks at creative quality, professionalism and implementation planning. The basis under state aid law: de minimis.
