Layer by layer

How does 3D printing give rise to new products, design processes, and business models? At the open networking event “Layer by Layer,” creative professionals gain practical insights into the world of additive manufacturing.

Additive Manufacturing Austria invites creatives, designers, and anyone interested in the creative industry to an afternoon event exploring the potential of 3D printing. At 3 Dee in Vienna, participants will learn the basics of additive manufacturing, be introduced to the latest technologies, and have the opportunity to try them out. At the same time, the event will focus on networking with experts and industry professionals.

The program will feature insights into various 3D printing technologies, 3D scanning, and best-practice examples from design, jewelry, architecture, and manufacturing. Participants will include jewelry designer Marie Boltenstern, designer and architect Julia Körner (online), and other industry representatives. The event is aimed at anyone interested in new production and design possibilities and looking for a concise introduction to the topic of additive manufacturing.
