Funding for the Audiovisual Sector
Submission deadline: September 14 | Funding of up to 75,000 euros per project | EIT Culture & Creativity supports continuing education in the audiovisual sector
How can professionals and companies in the audiovisual sector keep pace with the rapid developments in AI, digital formats, and new distribution models? Through a new call for proposals, EIT Culture & Creativity is supporting the development of practice-oriented continuing education programs for the industry.
A total of 600,000 euros is available to develop and implement specialized continuing professional development (CPD) programs for the European audiovisual media sector. Projects are eligible for grants of up to 75,000 euros each.
We are seeking innovative course offerings in three key areas: artificial intelligence in audiovisual production processes; intellectual property, rights management, and content monetization; and digital, interactive, and cross-platform storytelling. The goal is to equip professionals with new skills, spur innovation, and strengthen the competitiveness of the European creative industries.
Eligible applicants include educational institutions, research institutions, industry organizations, and media companies from EU member states and countries associated with Horizon Europe. The courses should be practice-oriented, results-oriented, and designed primarily as asynchronous online offerings in English.
