How will the experiential worlds of the future take shape? Answers to this question are provided by the “Culture Tech Made in Japan” future-focused tour, which will visit Tokyo, Yokohama, Kyoto, and Osaka from November 16–19, 2026. Organized by AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT AUSTRIA as part of the go-international program, the trip offers Austrian companies exclusive insights into one of the most innovative ecosystems at the intersection of culture, creativity, and technology.
The program includes visits to international pioneers such as Yamaha, teamLab, Universal Studios Japan, and TOA Corporation, as well as leading organizations in the fields of gaming, digital art, live entertainment, and immersive media. Participants will gain insights into the latest developments in experience design, interactive experiences, sound technologies, digital storytelling, and innovative business models.
The Future Journey is aimed specifically at companies and stakeholders in the cultural and creative industries who want to learn about new trends, meet potential partners, and explore business opportunities in the Japanese market.
