A single red line loops and curves smoothly on a light gray background, forming a large loop near the center before continuing off the right edge.
A group of people sit and relax in a bright event room during Vienna Design Week. Three adults in the front row are chatting and smiling, one man is lounging with his legs stretched out, while others are mingling in the background.

Creative Mornings

Creative ideas arise where people come together

Since 2014, CreativeMornings/Vienna has been part of a global community that promotes precisely this kind of exchange – open, inspiring and accessible to all. Once a month, always on the last Friday morning, the community meets at different, exciting locations such as museums, cafés, studios or concept stores.

Each event offers an inspiring talk, space for discussion and the opportunity to network. Admission is free and open to anyone who wants to share ideas and gather new inspiration.

New from 2026: CreativeMornings/Vienna is expanding its program to include community workshops – formats from the community, for the community. In small groups of 8-15 participants, 2-4-hour workshops will be created that enable exchange, learning and joint experimentation.

Thematically, the spectrum ranges from illustration, ceramics and painting to speculative design, Instagram marketing and many other creative fields.

The workshops are deliberately designed to be low-threshold and are aimed at anyone who wants to experience, deepen or rediscover creative practice.

Further information on dates, content and registration – both for the workshops and the events – can be found in the CreativeMornings newsletter (Opens in a new tab or window).
