500,000 € for sustainable fashion ideas
NEB Academy | Fashion Shift | Deadline: 31.8.26
Up to €500,000 for circular fashion innovations in Europe
The fashion industry is changing: new legal framework conditions, rising consumer expectations and a growing awareness of sustainability are changing the rules of the game. This is precisely where the current EIT Culture & Creativity call comes in: with a total of 2.5 million euros, projects that rethink fashion – in a circular, responsible and sustainable way – are being funded.
What is it all about?
The NEB Academy (New European Bauhaus) supports five collaborative teams that want to develop and scale innovative business models in the fashion industry.
Approaches are needed along the entire value chain, for example in the following areas:
- sustainable materials
- Production
- Repair & reuse
- Re-Sale & Rental
- Transparent supply chains
The aim is to further develop existing ideas, adapt them regionally and network them internationally.
Who can submit?
The call is aimed at stakeholders from all over Europe who want to work together on solutions, including
- independent fashion labels
- Research facilities
- Companies along the value chain
- public institutions
What is supported?
- up to 500,000 euros per project
- 100 % of the eligible costs are covered
In addition, selected teams benefit from:
- Support from regional EIT hubs (e.g. for regulatory issues or collaborations)
- Exchange formats with other projects (digital and on-site)
- Access to the Europe-wide network of EIT Culture & Creativity and the New European Bauhaus Community
Why the submission is worthwhile
Many innovative approaches in sustainable fashion are developed locally. However, their potential often remains untapped. This funding helps you to start right here: to further develop your idea, scale it internationally and become part of a strong European network.
Submission by August 31
An info session on July 8 will also give you the opportunity to clarify any open questions directly with the team.
