CampusVäre: The future is being created here

The CampusVäre is more than a place, it is a vision. A creative center is being created in Dornbirn that brings together innovation, art and business and shows how sustainable urban development works. Those who become part of it actively help shape what will be important tomorrow.

A place is currently growing in Dornbirn that will have an impact far beyond Vorarlberg: the CampusVäre – Western Austria’s largest center for innovation, creative industries, art and culture. On 12,000 m² of former F.M. Hämmerle weaving mill, the development of the Sägenhallen shows how existing buildings can be reused, ecologically transformed and revitalized. A project that is regarded as a blueprint for responsible urban development – supported by the city and state, the creative industries, administration, the Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Austrian Industries and the Vorarlberg brand.

What is happening right now?

A modular work and meeting space for around 150 creative minds, companies and initiatives is currently being built in Hall 4. From May 2026, there will be offices, studios, ateliers, workshops, restaurants and communal areas – for anyone who wants to shape the future and wants to be part of this extraordinary future workshop.
