Start for the #ECIS23 in Umeå, Sweden

The #ECIS23 will discuss and deepen the retraining and upskilling of European talent and professionals in two main events. It will kick off with the #ECIS23 Assembly on February 15.

2003 will be the European Year of Skills as announced by EU President von der Leyen. This year the EU will focus on promoting the importance of creative skills for the renewal of our society and our planet. In addition, we all need to develop a shared understanding of what new competencies are needed to manage the complexity of cross-sector integration and drive the green transformation.

The #ECIS23 will discuss and deepen the re-skilling and up-skilling of European talents and professionals to meet the needs for the European Green Dealdigitalization and mitigating multiple crises.

Firstly it will kick off with the #ECIS23 Assembly on February 15, where more than 100 guests and delegates will discuss the needs and opportunities for teaching and learning transformative skills online and onsite. Later in the year, the #ECIS23 final conference will move to southern Sweden.

Transformative skills – embrace friction to create the unexpected

The second part of this year’s #ECIS23, the final conference will be held on the 23rd and 24th of May in Helsingborg, Sweden. The final summit will not only investigate the possibilities and good cases on transformative skills but also provides workshops and seminars about the new EIT-Culture & Creativity program but also will provide an overview on European projects.
