Follow-up report AUSTRIACUS 2023: Austrian Federal Advertising Prize awarded for the fourth time at the WKÖ

"Today's award-winning projects prove once again how innovative and creative Austria's companies are. The AUSTRIACUS Federal Advertising Award has thus finally become the benchmark for the Austrian communications industry. It impressively demonstrates the strength of the national advertising scene," emphasized WKÖ Vice President Amelie Groß on the occasion of the festive presentation of the Austrian Federal Advertising Award AUSTRIACUS in front of the "who's who" of the Austrian media and agency scene. Yesterday, Thursday, February 1, 2024, a total of 36 award winners from over 2,500 submissions from all federal states were presented with an award at the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKÖ).

 

Mrazek: AUSTRIACUS is a benchmark for the Austrian communications industry

Michael Mrazek, Chairman of the Advertising and Market Communication Association of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, also emphasized: "Austria is a strong advertising and communication location. As a renowned advertising award, the AUSTRIACUS has now established itself as a benchmark in the Austrian communications industry. It impressively demonstrates the professionalism and creativity of our domestic advertising industry and offers our agencies and the commissioning economy a highly visible Austria-wide stage."

Chaired by Andreas Spielvogel, the AUSTRIACUS jury awarded gold, silver or bronze to the winners in twelve categories from the 283 winning projects of the provincial advertising awards and the Vienna preselection. The projects were judged according to the criteria of creativity, strategy, quality of implementation, message and target group appeal.
