Funding is provided to individuals and companies that work on new solutions for the challenges of our time, such as climate change, demographic changes and social inequalities.

    Austrian Research Promotion Agency FFG invites you to exchange and inform yourself about the latest developments, focal points and news in Horizon Europe. Become part of the Horizon Europe Community Austria and use the opportunity to network and meet new partners for the implementation of your projects. Around 130 actors of cultural and creative industries already joined this community.
  • Urban transformation capacity building through arts and design
    There is a need to emphasize the importance of imagination, and the cultural and creative sectors, to support and enable the transformation of societies towards a sustainable, climate neutral, and just future.In the new Building Transformation Capacities (BTC) call within the Era-Net Cofund Urban Transformation Capacities (ENUTC) - art and design form the focal point. In the context of the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2023, EIT Culture& Creativity interim CEO, Bernd Fesel, and Pia Sandvik, CEO of RISE Research Institutes of Sweden & member of the EIT - European Institute of Innovation and Technology Governing Board reached the agreement during the #ECIS23 Assembly in Umeå, Sweden to push and join Swedish innovation funds and activities and cooperate for a European Design Agenda.     In 2024, the Viertelfestival NÖ will make a stop in the industrial quarter. As of now, art and cultural projects from all disciplines can be submitted. The submission phase runs until June 5, 2023, the festival period is from May 17 to July 15, 2024.
  • Circular solutions wanted: Open Call for Circular Design Week
    Companies can still register for the Open Call of the Circular Design Week Tirol until March 15.
  • Start for the #ECIS23 in Umeå, Sweden
    The #ECIS23 will discuss and deepen the retraining and upskilling of European talent and professionals in two main events. It will kick off with the #ECIS23 Assembly on February 15.
  • Make SMEs from construction and furniture industry resilient and get 60,000 funding
    Business Upper Austria as partner of a EUROCLUSTER project is offering a LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® workshop on the topic: "How can we make companies more resilient to unexpected global events?" in Linz on February 9 and is informing on the funding vouchers for solving challenges in the construction and furniture industry.
  • What's new in the New European Bauhaus
    Two years after its launch, the New European Bauhaus (NEB) has become a catalyst for the European Green Deal transformation. With over 600 official partner organizations ranging from EU wide networks to local initiatives, the NEB reaches millions of citizens. The initiative is bringing together people from various backgrounds - from art and design, cultural and creative industries, cultural heritage institutions, to educators, scientists and innovators, businesses, local and regional authorities, and citizen initiatives.
