Corona aid for arts and culture: extension of support measures

All important instruments to bridge the major financial challenges for the cultural sector are to be extended or increased. These include the Hardship Fund and the NPO Fund, which will be increased by 125 million euros. Likewise, an increase from 150 to 175 million euros is planned for the bridging funding at the SVS. In addition, the Covid 19 Fund of the Artists' Social Insurance Fund will be up-dated from 40 to 50 million euros. Other instruments also include the extension of the organiser protection umbrella until 30 June 2022 and the comeback grant for film, for which applications will be possible until 30 June 2022.
