In 2024, the Viertelfestival NÖ will make a stop in the industrial quarter. As of now, art and cultural projects from all disciplines can be submitted. The submission phase runs until June 5, 2023, the festival period is from May 17 to July 15, 2024.
The Viertelfestival Niederösterreich is a regional arts and culture festival that takes place annually in one of the four
quarters of Lower Austria. In the period from May 17 to July 14, 2024, art and cultural projects will be realized at numerous locations in the industrial quarter, dealing with the motto SICHTWEISE as well as the special features of the region and distinguished by originality and the joy of experimentation.
The Viertelfestival Niederösterreich is not a festival in the conventional sense. Cultural initiatives, artists, communities, schools, but also private individuals or associations can submit projects. A jury of experts selects those projects from all submissions that are invited to be implemented. Viertelfestival NÖ provides the organizational and promotional framework as well as financial support for the implementation.
The festival motto SICHTWEISE wants to strengthen the awareness that there are always several ways of looking at things. Dare to change the point of view once, to include other points of view and to let different points of view enter into dialogue.
