Warning letters because of Google Fonts

Since July, there have been extensive warnings to website operators because of the assumption of data protection violations through the use of Google Fonts. Specifically, 100 euros in damages and 90 euros in reimbursement of costs for the intervention of the lawyer are being demanded. The data protection authority has now initiated an official investigation into the use of Google Fonts in order to clarify whether the disclosure of the IP address actually violates the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
